Construction Auction
The Construction Auction is a paid service for finding a contractor in an organised way through a reverse auction. The free alternative is the Auftrag-Assistent.
What projects it suits
For one specific renovation, construction service or project — from a bathroom and painting to a roof, a facade or a larger construction site.
Each Construction Auction is created for one main service. For several different services, create separate auctions or use the Auftrag-Assistent.
How it works
-
1
Describe the project
The client describes the project, uploads the necessary photos and documents, and states the preferred period for the work to start.
-
2
Administrative review
The project is reviewed by the administration. If information is missing, it goes back for correction. After approval it is published.
-
3
Participant registration
Suitable tradespeople and companies register to take part. Before registering, each of them sees the exact participation fee.
-
4
Reverse auction and result
Bidding starts at a set moment after registration closes. Participants do not submit scattered prices in advance.
Scheduled reverse auction
All admitted participants start under equal conditions and bid one after another according to the order and the rules of the auction. During the auction the price develops through reverse bidding.
Result according to the auction rules
The auction ends with a valid result, without a result, or by termination under the platform rules. With a valid result the lowest valid price wins; the client confirms the result and continues to the next steps.
When the work should start
The client states a preferred period for the start: as soon as possible, within 14 days, within 1 month, or 1 to 3 months. This helps tradespeople judge whether they have the necessary capacity.
This period does not determine when the auction itself starts and is not a deadline for completing the work.
A clear one-off fee
The publication fee is shown in advance and is paid once for one Construction Auction. No new publication fee is charged merely because time has passed.
See the priceTransparent terms
All applicable fees are shown in advance. There are no hidden publication fees and no automatic renewal because time has passed. Before you continue, you always see the exact amount and the terms that apply to that particular step.
Review and publication
After you submit it, the Finden24 team reviews the project. If more information is needed, the auction goes back to the client for correction. After approval and successful payment it is published and registration of suitable participants begins.
After approval and publication, the content of the auction is locked for editing by the client.
The Construction Auction is still being built. Read how it works and come back soon.
